The ideal candidate will be a skilled and accomplished Project Officer with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. This is an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within the disability sector for the federal government. The role involves overseeing program integration, with a particular focus on managing the comprehensive program schedule. You will work closely with the Program Governance Manager to identify and analyse key dependencies that impact the programme's critical path and milestones

What you will need to exceed

  • To be successful in this role, you must have strong skills in establishing, managing, and reporting on project timelines and deliverables.
  • You should also be able to manage relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and alignment.
  • Expertise in identifying, evaluating, and managing risks within a programme or project context is also essential.
  • The position requires high-quality written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce reports, briefs, and correspondence under tight deadlines.
  • You must also be able to foster inclusive and culturally safe working environments.

Must have

The ideal candidate must have advanced expertise in using MS Projects and possess exceptional scheduling skills.
